Murat Zor

Prof. Dr Murat Zor is a distinguished urologist with extensive expertise in the fields of male genital health, male genital aesthetic surgery, reconstructive urology and male sexual medicine. By combining his advanced microsurgical skills with modern reconstructive and aesthetic techniques, he offers personalised treatments aimed at enhancing both functional outcomes and patients’ self-confidence.

He currently serves as Professor of Urology at Istanbul University of Health Sciences. Since 2022, alongside his academic responsibilities, Prof. Dr. Zor has been seeing patients at his private urology practice in Istanbul; providing comprehensive assessment and personalised treatment options in the areas of male genital disorders, genital aesthetic procedures, sexual health disorders and advanced reconstructive surgery.

Having completed his medical education at the Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA), Prof. Dr Zor also undertook his specialisation in Urology at the same institution. Throughout his academic career, he has served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Gülhane Faculty of Medicine and the University of Health Sciences, making significant contributions to clinical practice, surgical training and scientific research.

His surgical practice encompasses penile reconstructive surgery, the correction of congenital and acquired penile deformities, surgery for Peyronie’s disease, circumcision and revision circumcision, scrotal surgery and other modern genital aesthetic procedures. Adopting an evidence-based and patient-centred approach, he focuses on helping his patients regain their health from both a functional and aesthetic perspective.

In addition to his expertise in male genital surgery, Prof. Dr Zor specialises in laser prostate surgery (HoLEP, ThuLEP, ThuFLEP), Rezūm Steam Therapy, MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy, uro-oncology, and advanced laparoscopic and robotic urological surgery. He regularly attends national and international scientific conferences and continues to contribute to the development of modern urological practice through research and education.
