In reality, however, the most important factor determining the outcome is the angle at which each graft is implanted. Eyebrow hairs grow at much shallower angles than scalp hair and change direction in each area. The direction of growth at the start of the eyebrow is not the same as the angle at the tail. This is why each hair follicle is assessed individually before being implanted. If the natural direction of the grafts is not preserved, the eyebrows may, over time, appear to grow upwards or become difficult to comb.
